I’ve never been to a murder mystery dinner show. How does it work?
It is a four-course sit-down dinner in which each guest is allowed to choose their own entree. In between each course of the meal, we have another part of the show. The show is an interactive and improvised comedic murder mystery set in the present day. None of our performers are dressed in costume, but instead are dressed just like everyone else; therefore you do not know who is a part of the show and who isn’t.
The show takes place throughout the entire room, and performers may actually be seated at your table, so part of the fun from the beginning is trying to figure out who’s involved in the crime and who’s not. Throughout the night, murders and mayhem will occur, hidden clues will come forth and our Detectives will help everyone try to solve the crime. In the end, we have a prize package for the Top Sleuth who comes closest to solving the crime.
PLEASE NOTE: Guns and loud gunshots are used as part of the performance.
What does the ticket include?
Every murder mystery admission ticket includes: An interrogation reception, hors d’oeuvres, fresh rolls and butter, salad, your choice of entree, dessert, wait staff gratuity for food service (beverage service and performer gratuity not included), and a tantalizing Prize Package for the Top Sleuth who comes closest to solving the crime. We also have a full bar if you would like to purchase cocktails, and we feature several drink specials every night. An ATM is easily accessible inside the venue.
What does the venue look like?
We hold our weekly public Murder Mystery Dinner Shows and many of our private shows at the Marriott Suites Midtown, located in Atlanta, GA.
How do I transfer my reservations to another show?
Yes, you may email atl.info@thedinnerdetective.com or call 866-496-0535 to transfer your tickets of change your meal orders. All rescheduled reservations are subject to a $10/ticket rescheduling fee (5 days or more before the show) or a $40/ticket rescheduling fee (4 days or less before the show). If you have missed your scheduled show date, please follow the instructions above (please note: the $40/ticket rescheduling fee will apply). Sorry but we cannot accept any meal changes within 36 hours of your scheduled show date.
